Sonic Hearing is also accredited by WorkCover to provide a full range of employment-related hearing tests.

Medical referrals, hearing aids & other rehabilitation options will be discussed with you as appropriate after your assessment. All of our Audiologists are University qualified and accredited under the Commonwealth Government’s hearing services program.

Children


For children with suspected ear infections, glue ear, hearing loss, speech delay, learning and concentration difficulties and/or who have recently had ear surgery, Sonic Hearing offers a full range of hearing assessments (ages 4+ years) and some basic assessments for babies and toddlers.

Our comprehensive range of hearing services for children:

  • Middle ear tests for suspected glue ear or Eustachian Tube dysfunction (6 months+)
  • Objective tests of ear function (6 months+)
  • Hearing tests (4+ years old)
  • (Central) Auditory Processing tests for children with a history of difficulties in concentrating and learning
  • Custom made ear plugs for children with grommets or susceptible to ear infections

Medical referrals, monitoring or CAP rehabilitation options will be discussed with you as appropriate after the assessment.
